Speaking of PETA nuts: $3400 Lobsters Set Free

As reported in the Portland Press Herald, an anonymous group of young men and women came into the New Meadows Lobster Pound in Portland and bought all of 300 one-claw lobsters. The group paid $11.25 cash for each of the lobsters, which totaled nearly $3,400.

Big lobster bake perhaps? Nope.

The group said they wanted to release the lobsters back into the ocean.

When the owner of the lobster pound told them that the lobsters would just get trapped again, they said, “That's OK. We just want them to have a chance before they get caught again."
